My PC says the Command.com file is corrupt

Question:
My computer says that the Command.com file is corrupt or missing and then it asks me to type the name of a command interpreter (e.g. C:/windows/command.com)

The underscore is blinking and I can type anything into it, but I have tried many solutions and none of them work.
I'm using Windows 98. Can anyone help me?
Answer:
Get yourself a Windows 98 bootdisk.
Make sure that you are booting from the bootdisk, choose boot without CD-ROM support.
When you get the A:\> prompt, type in Sys c:
This should give you the message system transferred. Once the system has been transferred, remove the floppy diskette and reboot the computer.
